PRODUCTION, PLANNING & QUALITY MANAGEMENT

Production Management allows you to improve your business performance through efficient manufacturing processes and to take advantage of new revenue opportunities.

The Planning Management takes care of all the planning required to make a finished product and maintain its quality. In forging industry, one makes more customized items then routine item, the production planning plays an important role.

From the Sales & Marketing Management, the Technical Work Order (TWO) is prepared is send to Production department.

In TWO, you define the following data -
* Proposed date of Forging
* Proposed date of M/cing
* Proposed date of Inspection
* Type of Heat Treatment
* Specific Chemical or Mechanical Properties for particular items in the order.

On the basis of above data in TWO, the tracking of various items in order is kept. The fist stage after defining TWO is to plan for the Raw material. If the Raw Material of the required specifications is available in the store, the raw material is displayed as soon as the Item from an order is selected. If Raw material is not available in Store, The PO is issued from Material Management and material is procured.

Once material is avilable in the store, you can actually specify the required raw material to various items. Once that planning is done, the material is sent for inhouse cutting or to the external vendor.

It will also keep track of the material it the material is sent to different vendors for different process after any stage or in the beginning itself. Accordingly this Production is connected to Material Management for issuing Purchase Order or Work Order.
TWO planning will include the planning for raw material purchase and allocation of raw material for various items in the order. Once material is defined for cutiing, further operations are planned according to the requirements.

This planning is done on the basis of delivery date defined for each product in the Work Order. All the required parameters for Heat Treatment and other process, defined at the time of TWO, are also be taken into consideration while planning for heat treatment and other machining process.

Quality Management
Every production step is followed by a quality sub-module to receive the material after the step. It is compulsory to define about the rejected number of pieces and the reason for rejection. It cover all the production process in company to ensure the best quality. Also is the provision to define the Corrective and Preventive action taken for every reason for rejection.
